Job Summary: Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to manage vehicle deliveries and pick-ups. No prior experience needed—just a valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety and professionalism. The schedule will be part time to on call (sometimes only a few hours per month).

SUMMARY
Delivers and picks up vehicles for the dealership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Picks up and delivers vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, etc.
Checks with the sales manager and billing department before leaving to coordinate any last minute instructions or paperwork for pick-ups or deliveries.
Verifies that vehicle paperwork matches the vehicle slated for pick-up or delivery.
Performs initial verification that ant checks received are for the correct amount and calls billing department to resolve any errors noted.
Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
Turns in all paperwork to billing department upon return to the dealership.
Handles basic maintenance of the vehicle during delivery including filling tank with gas, checking oil and keeping it clean.
Performs inspection, documents, and reports all damage prior to every pick up or delivery.
Advises sales manager if vehicle needs major repairs and maintenance.
Helps maintain the professional image of the dealership.
Maintains professional appearance.
Can and does use all the safety features of each vehicle including wearing seatbelts at all times when driving.
Maintains safe driving habits and practices.
Reports all accidents involving vehicles immediately with a written statement regarding the incident, identification of all parties, contact information for any involved law enforcement personnel, and witnesses.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak and communicate effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
