Seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The ideal candidate should have the ability to work with others or independently, and multi task. Positive customer service experience, and basic automotive experience a plus, but not required.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 2:00pm. Every third Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm.

Job Title: Service Porter
SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary:
Maintain presence on Service Floor near Cobble Stone area when not engaged in Porter duties listed below.
Watch for customer vehicles to pull up to doors #1 and #2 and open door immediately. Porter is expected to guide guest into Service Drive, introduce themselves and greet customer. Advise customer Service Advisor will be right with them. (All with a SMILE!)
Keep the Service Floor empty of cars. Keep all vehicles on Service Drive pulled up as to leave room for future guests to pull in. Write parking space # on key tag after parking vehicle.
Transport keys and repair orders to Group Leader’s in a timely manner.
Pull vehicles up for guests upon Re-delivery after Service work immediately upon request.
Thank customer for their business and tell them to have a nice day/night. (All with a SMILE!).
Remove all floor mats, seat covers and hat tags. Look for any items that may have been left in vehicle by technicians. Check for grease on floor, fingerprints, etc.
Prior to pulling up vehicle, thoroughly remove all ice and snow from all windows. Keep the Service floor empty of cars
Miscellaneous:
Shovel and Salt entrances and walkways when needed. Maintain salt inventory in 5 gal bucket at high traffic areas.
Assist in picking up and dropping off guest vehicles as requested.
Fuel up Rental vehicles when requested. Use the Rental gas card at Lead Rental Agents desk.
Assist in driving Rental vehicles through Car Wash when requested.
Maintain inventory and advise Tom Hernly when using last box of floor mats or seat covers.
Janitorial:
Clean Service floor with floor machine once a day.
Empty trash, including office wastebaskets daily. Break down cardboard boxes and put in dumpster.
Empty oil filter bins daily from technician service area.
Sweep and mop hallway every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Clean window sills and openings.
Clean windows and window sills, sweep and Mop Dave’s, Tom’s and Duane’s office every Monday.
Clean grease from walls and all service doors (customer and employee) daily.
Clean tool room Monday (sweep and mop)
Empty outside ashtrays and pick up papers and cigarette butts every day.
Clean Advisor work stations (desks) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Vacuum Cobblestone walk area and under advisor desks every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Clean Alignment rack bays every Monday.
Clean sinks and walls around sinks Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Clean the Service floor daily
Empty the trash, including the wastebaskets, daily
Empty the oil filters daily
Clean the hallway, sweep and mop, every other day
Clean grease from the doors and walls daily
Clean the tool room once a week
Empty outside ashtrays and pick up papers and butts daily
Clean ASM computers once a week
Vacuum cobblestone walk every other day
Wash windows in all Service offices every other day
Sweep under ASM desks daily
Clean front-end stall once a week
Clean sinks and walls near sinks every other day
MARGINAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
